Adelaide Khukuri Football Club (AKFC) began as a casual weekend meet-and-greet for Nepali students and migrants, who bonded over their shared love for soccer. What started as a social gathering in 2012 quickly transformed into a football club, officially incorporated in 2013. With affiliations to the South Australian Amateur Soccer League (SAASL) in 2017 and Football Federation South Australia (FFSA) in 2019, AKFC has grown into a welcoming community for football enthusiasts. Whether you’re passionate about playing or cheering from the sidelines, AKFC invites everyone to join in and celebrate the beautiful game we all love.

Strengthening Our Competitive Edge in South Australian Football

At Adelaide Khukuri Football Club (AKFC), our mission is to bring together football enthusiasts, particularly from the Nepalese community, and create a strong, competitive, and inclusive football environment. We strive to provide a platform where players of all skill levels can improve, compete, and grow both individually and as a team. AKFC is committed to promoting discipline, integrity, teamwork, and respect—values that are essential both on and off the field. Through football, we aim to inspire and empower young players, strengthen community ties, and uphold the spirit of sportsmanship.

Furthermore, AKFC believes in fostering a multicultural environment, welcoming players from all backgrounds, and ensuring fair and equal opportunities for everyone. By organizing events such as Dashain Cup, supporting youth training programs, and engaging in local and interstate competitions, we continue to build a club that stands as a symbol of unity, pride, and excellence in South Australian football.
